Employee Question-Cold Weather Food & Wine Pairing

Today I went around the offices of Laetitia in search of an abundance of yummy cold weather food ideas and wine pairing suggestions.

I asked our employees:

What is your favorite cold-weather food and what wine do you pair with it?

Here are the responses I received:

Dan Redman (TX, OK & LA Broker)- “Andouille sausage gumbo with Laetitia Estate Pinot Noir.”

Ted Hudson (Accounting Associate)- “I enjoy a hearty bowl of beef chili with a nice glass of our Barnwood Cabernet Sauvignon.”

Gayle Cecchetti (Senior Accounts Payable)- “I like so many things when it is cold, but if I am only allowed to choose one, it would be my favorite Stew recipe that my sister-in-law gave me from her Auntie Ada’s Farm Journal Cookbook and I would probably have that with Barnwood GSM.

Lino Bozzano (VP Vineyard Operations) -“Polenta with Sausage and Mustard Greens paired with Laetitia Reserve du Domaine Pinot Noir.”

Alisa Cecchetti (Wine Club Coordinator)- “Taco soup with cornbread paired with the Barnwood GSM.”

Jackie Ross (Sales & Marketing Coordinator)- “I love creamy butternut squash soup with Laetitia Dry White Riesling.”

Sara Nesper (Vineyard Accounting and Contracts Manager)- “Turkey and black bean chili with Barnwood Trio.”

Elza Corona (Shipping & Receiving)- “Dark chocolate torte and Barnwood Port!”

Wendell Cottle (VP CFO)- “Red vines licorice and NADIA White.”

Carmen Hickey (Tasting Room Manager/Hospitality)- “Laetitia Les Galets Pinot Noir with Filet Mignon.”
