How to make a cork wreath

Feeling a little crafty this holiday season?  We have a fun craft to keep you busy while trapped inside on cold winter days and help you get rid of all of those wine corks laying around…

What you need:

  • 12″ straw wreath, foam works too (larger is fine if you are ambitious).
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Wine corks (around 100-200)
  • Colorful ribbon, for bow (we think burgundy works well to highlight the wine stained ends of the corks!)

Instructions:

Liberally apply hot glue to the back of the corks, one by one, and glue down the first and second layers of corks flat on their side.  On top of these two flat layers, stack the corks on the final layer at different angles to create depth and dimension to your wreath.  Finish it off with a seasonal ribbon, tied as you please!
